Donald Contursi is the founder and president of Lip Smacking Foodie Tours, the premier culinary walking tour in Las Vegas, which in just a short time has earned a host of impressive honors. The tours take the guesswork out of dining in Vegas, by giving guests VIP service at the best tables at acclaimed restaurants, where they enjoy curated signature dishes and personalized greetings from chefs – all without long lines or reservations.
A Chicago native, he moved to Las Vegas to earn a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Nevada. He subsequently spent a decade working in Las Vegas’ highly demanding hospitality industry at the finest restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip, including STK Las Vegas, Gordon Ramsay Steak and Social House.
Contursi combined his entrepreneurial acumen along with his wealth of culinary knowledge and vast industry connections to create the pioneering Lip Smacking Foodie Tours. It quickly grew into one of the top culinary experiences in a city that has no shortage of entertainment options.

With his hospitality experience, Contursi immediately recognized how attractive the tours would be not only to locals and tourists, but corporate clients. A Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS), he regularly works with meeting planners to show how Lip Smacking Foodie Tours offers an enticing, entertaining, and all-encompassing alternative to a mere high-end restaurant meal. It’s a dynamic show in and of itself that gives clients a chance to network in a relaxed and fun environment.
For his efforts, Contursi was named 2018 Meetings Trendsetter by Meetings Today and Connect Corporate magazine’s 2019 “40 under 40”.
Active in the community, Contursi serves as director on the board for Las Vegas Hospitality Association for the third consecutive year.
He also volunteers on the committee for “Fill A Bag with Cheer,” which works in conjunction with the Clark County School District to provide underprivileged children with necessities like blankets, clothing, jackets and hats, as well as toys, books and games, during the holiday season.
