Exposed: TechTimes Cheating Advertisers

TechTimes.com has been caught more than once running popups of their pages with ads “crammed” into the page so that even content can’t be seen.

We’ve spoken to Google and other companies about them in the past, and they’ve showed up on fraud reports for clients. However, here is an example of what they are doing.

If you notice, the popup comes up and there is no actual content on the page. The entire popup that is no re-sizable has ads covering the page both with DHTML overlays and other techniques. All clicks are “forced” on the ads.

Also, running in the background was at least two video ads that couldn’t be seen.
