The US based affiliate marketing network, Pepperjam, has recently announced that they are acquiring AdAssured, which is an online marketing compliance firm. They are doing this to help improve their transparency measurement on ROI and incrementality. The specific amount paid has not yet been released.
The CEO of Pepperjam, Michael Jones, commented on the deal saying, “Brands are rightly sensitive about compliance, and so we are incredibly excited to add the value of AdAssured to our clients and partners around the world.”
Pepperjame is going to be able to use the new features and options developed by AdAssured to provide clients with greater service including additional monitoring options, the prevention of any type of channel overlap for paid search activities, and much more.
The CEO of AdAssured, Ian Francis, said, “Many merchants are under the impression that publishers knowingly violate their advertising terms and conditions.” He went on to say, “Their first instinct is to remove them from the programme, which often comes at the expense of valuable revenue streams. We work to preserve advertiser revenue by rehabilitating publishers so that they can come into compliance.”
