Smarkets is a UK based sports betting exchange that has been doing quite well lately, in part because of their already successful affiliate program. In an attempt to further push their growth, they are relaunching the program using a different partner. To run the program, they have partnered with Income Access.
Affiliates who work with this system will receive 25% of net revenue that they generate. It will be based on the actual transaction fees, however, rather than on the wins and losses of players. This will help to generate a more stable and predictable revenue stream for affiliates.
Another benefit that they are promoting is that any negative balances will be voided, which can further help create consistent incomes.
The CEO of Smarkets, Jason Trost said of the move, “We are proud of the Smarkets affiliate program and acknowledge the important role it has played in our unprecedented growth over the past two years. Our team has worked exceptionally hard to challenge the industry status quo on price, product and experience. By selecting Income Access, we are looking forward to offering the same level of service to our customers throughout the busy 2016 calendar.”
This is seen by most to be an upgrade to an already successful program, and affiliate marketers who like working in the sports betting industry will love moving toward this program.
