Performance marketing group TradeDoubler has recently completed an agreement to partner with Payoneer, which will allow them to make payments in more currencies than ever. The agreement will make it possible for marketers in 200 countries to get payments in their own local currency rather than using either US dollars or the currency where the program was active.
This will be a major benefit to many international marketers, especially those who live in one country but promote products or services in other countries. One of the biggest perks is that users will now also be able to get paid entirely in their own currency rather than getting payments in multiple different currencies depending on where the program they were promoted was based.
Payoneer will assume the role as payment provider for all cross-border payments that are being made to publishers who live outside of Europe.
TradeDoubler’s CEO, Matthias Stadelmeyer said of the move, “By personalizing payment methods, we are able to support a single market and the international publishers, as well as those that are looking to develop internationally.”
This is going to add a significant new level of convenience for many marketers around the world and will hopefully set a trend for performance marketing companies to look into additional payment options for their publishers.
