Triggit does Dynamic Retargeting to Native Ads

Triggit has been the advertising retargeting partner for Facebook for quite some time now, helping to improve the overall effectiveness of the social giant’s ads.  According to a recent announcement, they are now partnering with several new premium publishers to help bring these same benefits to top sites and brands across the internet.

While the specific partners they are signing with to start have not been listed, they have said that the list includes global travel companies, top internet retailers, and many others.

This is a big move not only for Triggit, but also for the new clients that they are offering their retargeting services too.  Retargeting has quickly become one of the most important trends in online advertising due to its effectiveness at bringing potential customers back to a site where they can make a purchase.

In addition to simply growing to offer the service outside of Facebook, they are also looking offer the native ad retargeting inventory to mobile devices, something Facebook has not yet done on their own platforms.

Triggit CEO, Zach Coelius, said in a statement about retargeting, “Banner blindness is real.  We’re conditioned to ignore anything that isn’t a part of a site’s content.  It was incredibly apparent we were on to something with native retargeting when we started with FBX News Feed ads.”  These ads have been among the most successful for Facebook, and will likely bring in the same great results for the new Triggit clients.

At this point the ad offerings are only going to a fairly small number of ‘alpha-testers’ but it seems likely that they will begin offering it to a wider audience in the future.  This is definitely something all brands will want to look into when it becomes widely available.
