Clickky Launches CPE for Mobile Apps

Clickky has recently announced that they are moving their CPE (Cost-Per-Engagement) advertising program out of beta, and opening it up to all app developers.  This CPE system allows advertisers to pay for each new user that is active in the app, rather than simply installs it.  This is an innovative new option for performance marketing that really guarantees the advertisers are getting what they are paying for.

Advertisers can set up their metrics with Clickky so they focus on getting the specific results they desire.  According to the press release, the metrics, “could be anything from completing an in-game tutorial to sending an email.  The campaign cost is determined based on the quantity of engaged users rather than clicks or installs.”

Other engagement metrics listed in the press release included making an in-app purchase, reaching a certain level, making a photo or video, filling out the profile information or reserving a room or tickets.  The Clickky system is very versatile and can create tailor made marketing solutions that will help drive the exact results that advertisers need.

According to Clickky CEO Vadim Rogovskiy, “Our clients are thrilled with the new model.  The opportunity to control what kind of users to acquire, helps the advertisers predict the campaign ROI accurately.  CPI and other models do not have this benefit.  We are proud that we are the first company to offer CPE campaigns to our advertisers.”

Using this system advertisers are able to pay a much higher CPE and still realize an excellent return on investment, since they can accurately predict how much each conversion will bring in.  This is a great way to effectively combine the benefits of performance marketing with app advertising.
