HasOffers ‘Top 25’ Mobile Ad Partners

Advertising on mobile devices has exploded over the past several years.  Marketers spent an estimated $13.1 Billion on mobile ads in 2013, and that number is expected to go up to $42 Billion by 2017, according to Gartner Research.

Of that number, Facebook accounted for about 25% of the total mobile ad spend, making it the obvious leader when it comes to mobile ads.  While Facebook may be the #1 mobile ad provider, there are still billions of dollars being spent across all the other ad networks.  Marketers of all types need to know where they should be directing their mobile ad dollars to get the best return on investment.

HasOffers has analyzed data on 375 different integrated partners on MobileApp Tracking, and come up with a ‘top 25’ list for mobile advertising.  To calculate the top 25, they equally weighted three factors, Revenue per Install, Install Volume and Client Adoption.  This ranking only accounts for ad spend going through the MobileAppTracking system, so it is not an all-inclusive evaluation, however, it will give marketers an excellent starting point when evaluating where to spend their marketing dollars.

Here are the top 25 mobile (excluding Facebook) ad partners, according to Has Offers:

  1. Google AdWords
  2. InMobi
  3. AdColony
  4. AppLift
  5. Millennial Media
  6. Drawbridge
  7. Chartboost
  8. RTB.com / Manage.com
  9. Flurry AppCircle
  10. Glispa
  11. Motive Interactive
  12. NativeX
  13. Tapjoy
  14. SensorPay
  15. JumpTap
  16. Conversant
  17. MdotM
  18. Vungle
  19. AdParlor
  20. AppLovin
  21. Pandora
  22. Appia
  23. Playhaven
  24. Aarki
  25. MobPartner

Congratulations to all the ad networks that made the list.  The mobile ad industry is very competitive, and it is only going to get more so in the coming years.  As more and more money is directed toward mobile, ad networks will need to work hard to remain competitive.  The technologies and methodologies used for mobile ad display will undoubtedly continue to advance and improve in the coming years, so our advice to those on this list is not to get too comfortable.  Without continuous improvement, other networks will be happy to take your place on the list.
